Lake Ozark/Four Season Homes for Sale
Bagnell Dam was completed in 1931 at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Lake of the Ozarks is located in a remote area of the Ozark hills. The Lake has over 1,100 miles of shoreline in four different Missouri counties. The massive body of water is the largest manmade lake in the Midwestern United States and has made Lake of the Ozarks of the most popular vacation spots for residents from all parts of the country and the world.
Visitors and vacationers have enjoyed the fun and excitement of the Lake of the Ozarks for more than seven decades. However, it has also made the Lake of the Ozarks a large second home real estate market. Located in mid-Missouri, the Lake of the Ozarks is right between of Kansas City and St. Louis, and just South of Jefferson City and Columbia.
The Dam and Bagnell Dam Strip is located in Lake Ozarks. The Strip is an area of speciality shops, arcades, bumper cars, little restraurants, motels for the frequent vacationers. Bagnell Dam Strip offers up fireworks every Saturday Night starting Memorial Day to Labor Day. I still go over there and do a little skee ball!
