The Lake of the Ozarks, Osage Beach to be exact, also plays host to the Factorty Outlet Mall. The largest mall in the State of Missouri with over 90 stores. These stores are filled with famous name brand merchandise at prices that will make the most frugal shopper smile. It is truly a bargain hunters paradise...especially at Christmas time.
Also, shopping centers like the indoor Stone Crest Mall provide great shopping opportunities. You will also find unique shopping areas like Blair's Landing in Osage Beach, the Bagnell Dam Strip (Lake Ozark), some great stores in Camdenton, Laurie and Versailles. The area also has over 70 antique and flea market shops spread out over a 50 mile radius.
The activities on and off the Lake of the Ozarks makes for great vacations or very exciting and rewarding full and part time living. If you enjoy boating, fishing, jet skis, water skiing, tubing, sun bathing, swimming, eating at great lake front restaurants, then you need to be at the Lake of the Ozarks, MO.
 Bagnell Dam was completed in 1931 at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Lake of the Ozarks is located in a remote area of the Ozark hills. The Lake has over 1,100 miles of shoreline in four different Missouri counties. The massive body of water is the largest manmade lake in the Midwestern United States and has made Lake of the Ozarks of the most popular vacation spots for residents from all parts of the country and the world.
The Dam and Bagnell Dam Strip is located in Lake Ozarks. The Strip is an area of speciality shops, arcades, bumper cars, little restraurants, motels for the frequent vacationers. Bagnell Dam Strip offers up fireworks every Saturday Night starting Memorial Day to Labor Day. I still go over there and do a little skee ball!
